Flexifoil Kitesurfing Sting Kite 2008

The Sting is easy to fly with simple direct control. Its good solid power is delivered with clean steady acceleration right across the wind-window.

The sting is exceptionally stable; you do not need to worry about it folding or falling even in gusty wind conditions. The Sting is one of the easiest kites ever to re-launch - easily inspiring confidence to all levels of flyers.

The Sting redefines the powerkite. It is a simple, patient and stable kite to fly which helps new kiters develop their kiting skills in a safe and comfortable way. It is unbelievably stable, non aggressive and super tough.

Perfect introduction to 4-line kiting (handles option). Fast and extremely maneuverable, the 1.2 is a fun kite suitable for the whole family.

Similar to the 1.2m but with a bit more punch! It’s better suited to teenagers and people who want to feel a bit of power but still like a fast paced kite.

This kite will give you a real idea what power kiting is all about! Powerful enough for it to be exciting, not too powerful for you to feel out of control - a great kite for people looking for a bit of pull and plenty of excitement.

A cross-over between a power kite and a traction kite, this kite is perfect for people who want to be dragged around. In stronger winds this kite can also be used for traction.

The Sting is available to buy either with 4-line control (handles) or 2-line control (bar). Both options are backed up by the Flexifoil safety system, meaning that if you need to you can simply let go (of the handles or bar) and the kite is safely depowers and falls to the ground. For most flyers we would recommend the handles option. If you are looking for a kite to help with kitesurfing training or the very young, go for the bar option.

The Sting is incredible value and is sold with everything you need to get flying. The package includes: kite, control gear (with Flexifoil safety system), flying lines, full comprehensive instructions, storage bag and some Flexifoil stickers. There’s even a one month no-quibble free repair just in case.
