The solid 149 special edition is an extreme light board (one of the lightest series boards in the market - the pure design save additional 200 gr of weight), with a relatively flat rockerline inbetween the bindings. It is ideal to force big kites into the wind window. A board for really good riders, who prefer to ride with powered kites.
This "special edition" is laminated in Germany.
Speciality about the Herex-core = highend material, with the following advantages:
-No water is coming in, means damages are not ending in a board where the core will be full of water.
-Easy lamination with glaslayers, so that a stabil sandwich could be build.
-More pressure stabil than the most other foam cores.
