Rye Watersports Kite School

Our kite school offers private kitesurfing lessons and two/three day courses at Camber Sands, on the Kent and Sussex border; it has consistent onshore breezes throughout the season, and shallow water due to a tidal range of about a mile. This vast sandy expanse and waist deep water enables our pupils to progress rapidly.
The latest kitesurfing equipment is essential for beginners and we only teach with the safest kites on the market – the North Rebel, the versatile bow/hybrid kite which is great for beginners, but also used by pros on the circuit.
As with any extreme sport safety has to be the main consideration. Our centre is BKSA recognised and we also hold an ‘Adventure Activities Licence’ that authorises us to run kitesurfing courses for
